                   Ambuluwawe Tower...


         I love to visit beautiful and precious places in sri lanka on my free days. This is one such trip. Ambuluwawe can be described as one of the most beautiful places I visited a one year ago. 


        Ambuluwawe peak is 3567 feet above sea level. It is located about 1000 feet above kandy-Gampola city. The tower is located on the top of the hill. As there are no other mountains in the surrounding area and it's unique location, ambuluwawe tower gets a view that cannot be seen from Gampola railway station. 


Ambuluwawe has grown in popularity and recent time due to the breathtaking views you can experience when you climb to the top of the tower. It is also famous for a narrow spiral staircase if you are up for a challenge then Sri Lanka is the perfect place to visit...

        __Our Sinhala Sweets__ S inhala sweets are part of our culture. These have a long history and there are verios stories about sweets.  Milk rice, Kawum, Kokis, Aluwa, Dodol, Asmee famous among sinhala sweets. Milk rice is the main dish of sweets table.  F arming is done before the new year. Sweets are made from that rice. Rice flour, honey and coconut oil are use to make sweets. Sinhala sweets are often sweet.  Sweets are cooked during ouspicious occasions and festivals. In every house, the housewife makes sweets before the new year. During the new year celebration, you can't do without these sweets. The guests who come to the house are treated with sweets and Everyone is happy eating  sweets. Foreigeners like sinhala sweets a lot. This sweets are unique to Sri Lanka.
