                      Wanni arachchige Mrs. Malani Senehelatha fonseca was born on April 30, 1947 in peliyagoda, kelaniya. Father is Gilbert Fonseka and mother is seelawathi Fonseka. She studied at Nugegoda saint john's college and kelaniya Gurukula college. She is known as the actress Queen of Sri Lankan cinema. 


             She started her acting career in stage plays. She added her lead roles for fourteen stage plays. She made her film debut in 1968 with the film "punchi baba". She acted in about one hundred and forty films. Among them are local and foreigen films. " Nidhanaya, Siripala and ran menika, He is now a big boy and Bambaru awith" are her most successful films. Later she entered television. There she acted as well as directed. 


                  Malani Fonseka is the first Sri lankan actress to win international awards. She received university award, presidential award and OCIC awards. She was able to get the best actress award several times. 

                  She joined politics in 2010. The united national freedom alliance gave her parlimentary membership. Malani Fonseka married lucky dias in 1986. 


               Even now, she contributes to sri lankan cinema and telivision screen with her acting. She is truly a queen of Sri Lankan acting industry....

Time spent in hospital😪         I suddenly had to go to the hospital because of the increase in the wheeze. That was a week ago. I also had fever, cough and shortness of breath. There for we, went to the primary hospital in our area for treatment. After the doctor's examination, he was advised to stopped at the hospital and get treatments. 🏥😷      We stopped at the hospital after taking the necessary things. My mother was in the hospital with me. That was the first time I was hospitalized. I was given a bed to stay on.       The doctors, nurses and staff at the hospital are very kind. They are friendly peoples. Helped us a lot. They examine and care for patients.      Family members and my friends came to see me when they were allowed to see patients. When they came, they brought many foods and drinks. When there is trouble, the people who are close are very valuable in life.      I started in the hospital for four days for treatment.
